R-LivE PVC Non-Slip Insulation Stripe Placemats Set Of 4 [Gray]
The kind folks at R-Live provided me with this set of four striped PVC placemats (in Grey) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
These are nice, standard sized placemats, at just under 18 by 12 inches. They don't slide around as easily as cloth ones do and are a nice, light, thin design.
Although liquid spills can seep through, after two months of use, I've yet to have anything spill that hasn't wiped off super easily, a nice surprise (I was concerned especially with the white stripes).
They arrived folded in half apposed to rolled so it took over 7 weeks of use before they flattened out. I hung them over chair backs against the fold when not in use but that didn't help. I'm sure if I'd placed them near a heater overnight (like a new rug you want to flatten out), they'd have done fine but was concerned about heat with PVC.
I don't doubt the durability of these and do feel that they are well made. If they'd been delivered rolled rather than folded I'd have rated them 5 stars. Good value for currently under $10 and I'd recommend them to others.
