Risidor Retracted Sink Dish Drying Rack Shelf - Multipurpose SUS304 Stainless Steel Colander Dish Drainer
The kind folks at RISIDOR provided me with this retractable dish rack in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
This product arrived as pictured and somewhat as described. Upon first taking it out of the box, one of the anti-skid pieces underneath was misplaced and not at all sticky. I used some adhesive to glue the one back on and all four have been in place since.
I wouldn't use it as a cutting board (as the title calls it) but it makes a fine dish rack. The box also specifies not to scratch it with anything sharp. It would also dull your knives using them on a metal surface so I'd recommend avoiding that.
This didn't fit horizontally in either of our two small sinks. It would only fit from front to back in our larger left sink side. Personally, we do not find it especially aesthetically pleasing. The cream color would likely look better with lighter colors than with our dark granite.
Depending on the size of your sink, it adjusts to fit and, in ours, it adjusts so that the cream plastic below is visible from the holes in the center. I guess we're a little picky but we thought it could've had a better design.
It's also listed to be a collander but has no lip to catch juices or contain anything you might be rinsing. You can place your collander on top of it but spraying water over it will lead to lots of over spray since it's not super ventilated.
I'm rating it at 3 stars, it's okay. This is nice enough to use but if given opportunity, I wouldn't order it over again. It serves it's purpose as a place to place dishes over the sink but at almost $21, there are more versatile options available here.
Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
