The folks at Addlon were kind enough to provide me with these Solar LED String Lights in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
I absolutely loved this string of lights upon first trying hanging them and trying them out! They're long enough to hang across my parents full patio and corner and they stand out in a peaceful, quiet way, from across the street. Beautiful solid or flashing lights and love that it's solar power!
Unfortunately, they worked for me for one day and night. I have them set-up where they can get good daylight and the solar part is blocked from our house light (to avoid them not coming on due to other light).
They look fine after rain and everything. Have tried turning them off and back on again and turning all surrounding lights off but nothing seems to help. I thought maybe it was the Seattle clouds but even on sunny days, they're not working.
I've had them in use for over two months and since then, they've come on a couple times but not for long and only on days where it was very sunny all day long. Hopefully mine were just lemons!
I'm wondering if I hung them on the South side of the house if that might help but I'm doubtful. We're moving soon and if I have a better experience with them at our new location, I'll be sure to update this review.
