W-Plus Multi Use Adjustable Child Safety Strap Latches Locks, 8 Count (Bonus 2Pcs Spare 3M Tapes)
The kind folks at W-Star provided me with these adjustable cabinet latches in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
Having worked in a daycare full of toddlers, I can definitely recommend getting cabinet and drawer latches for obvious safety reasons. It's a good idea to leave one lower cabinet unlatched so that they can explore and work their fine motor skills to access things like pots and pans (without glass lids accessible). Giving them access to one cupboard will also leave them less likely to be on constant watch to see how you get into your locked cabinets.
These cabinet locks come with instructions and are easy to set-up. I like that they came in a reusable bag that can be used for storing any extras or however you may see fit.
These work fine and have various applications but are not my first choice for kitchen cabinet doors. Aside from being less aesthetically pleasing, in our opinion, this style that is exposed is also easy for a toddler to see how you open them and then quickly learn how to do so themselves.
I would recommend these for keeping babies out of cupboards but not toddlers, unless they cannot reach where you're using them! These are great for bi-fold doors, refrigerator, freezer, or sliding doors, etc.
I'm uploading a couple of photos of the eight pack I received so you can get a better look. I do recommend these; how you use them is a matter of personal preference! Buy with confidence. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
