iPad 2/3/4 Case Bag,Ultra Portable Black Handle Carrying Leather Sleeve Case Bag Executive Smart Cover Built-in Flip Stand-Sleep/Wake Up Feature with outside pocket for Apple iPad 2/3/4 (A1395, A1396,A1397A1416, A1430,A1403, A1458, A1459,A1460)
The folks at iSank were kind enough to offer me with this Black iPad Case in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
I tested this case with my Pastor's wife's iPad which snapped in with ease. The black color arrived as pictured, smelled like new leather, and feels good in our hands!
It works well for both a case and a stand and because it has a small profile, we didn't need to take the case off to plug in her charging cord. The case allows for more than one viewing angle, in landscape mode, as shown in the product photos. The stand does not work for vertical viewing but is more stable than another I've used, which is nice.
What makes this case especially unique is that it has the look and quality of a nice leather purse! My Pastor's wife always has her hands full, between the church, her office, and grandkids, it's to be expected. If she's running out the door and doesn't have time to pack her iPad but wants to grab it, the handles and protection of this case make it an essential for a busy day.
The front pocket is not only fashionable but also functional, a nice bonus! It can accommodate her cell phone, a small charging bank, pen, and a cord. This makes the case pretty all inclusive for her needs.
It does not block any of the necessary ports for chargers or the buttons or camera, etc. It also does not effect camera usage, create any halo effects in photos, reflect case color into the flash or the photos.
The case fully covers the iPad's sides including over the front edges, all the way around, to prevent damage on all sides if dropped. It's not as thick as say a phone's Otter Case but seems to protect the iPad well.
It does add a bit of weight to the iPad but we wouldn't say it's heavy or anything. We consider it to be quite compact considering it's a case, stand, and a bag that can hold an extra item or two.
All of the seams are in tact and the handles, snaps, and everything seem well made. It feels like a good quality product and for currently under $20, I'd say this is an excellent value!
It arrived in a clear plastic bag inside of the packaging and was well protected around each turn of the leather. I think any iPad owner would love to receive this as a gift! My mom has since purchased an iPad and I'm considering getting her this case (verses a keyboard case) because I think the added protection and the beauty of this bag would serve her well.
We've had this case in use for a little over two months without any issues. Should it not last long (I've experienced others with deteriorating corners), I will update this review. I think, since it's leather, it will continue to hold up well.
So many cases and bags I've seen online are listed as leather... Until you find somewhere in the description that they're actually faux or PU leather (fake or polyurethane). This here is the real deal!
I'd recommend keeping the leather clean and supple (also beautiful and lasting for a long time) by using a good leather cleaner and conditioner. If you don't have any or want to buy any, you can use a soft cloth with a bit of mild baby soap and a few drops of vinegar. Another solution that works is a soft cloth dampened with a little lemon essential oil. Aside from a fresh scent, it'll help prevent any cracks in the leather over time.
Posting a photo so you can get a closer look at how flat it lays. Smile. Great case! Buy with confidence. Hope this is helpful!
