Kopack Men Travel Backpack Lightweight Laptop bag for 14 15.6 17 Inch Water resistant Grey Slim
The kind folks at Kopack provided me with this lightweight laptop backpack (color: Grey, size: 17") in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
I own more than a few backpacks here from Amazon and so far this one is my favorite for my needs. It arrived packaged in a giant ziplock style bag with a hole cutout for a handle, perfect for storing it or another bag in. It arrived without any chemical smell and actually had a light, pleasant and fresh scent.
I've had this bag for over four months and it can definitely handle my college work load. I love the large size because I don't have to maneuver things around to fit everything inside and can easily carry everything I need.
The padding is impressive and I especially appreciate it on the straps and on my back, where things can typically jab you. I drive a total of four hours for school so back pain is already an issue from the drive. Over the shoulders are wide and very comfortable. Perfect for carrying a heavy workload.
Ergonomically, this is a smart design. The straps have a place to quickly put my glasses. On my lower back there is a pocket perfect for a wallet or any item I wouldn't want someone walking behind me to be able to access. There's another one at the top, again touching my back so someone couldn't access it without my removing the bag.
Rather than a second pocket on the back of the bag (like a Jansport), it has two pockets accessible from the sides. This is easier to get to from the position of wearing the bag on your back. Very intelligent design.
It does not have mesh side pockets for easy access to a water bottle but either of the side zipper pockets can be used to store a water bottle that seals. The size is pretty unlimited here and you don't have to worry about your drink falling out.
I use a photo case for supplies and it fits with plenty of room to spare in either of the two pockets I just mentioned. It's from another retailer but similar to this one, IRIS 5" x 7" Photo and Craft Storage Case, 10 Pack, Clear
The body of the bag is another favorite feature for me. It's roomier all around than my JanSport and fits all of my books and files with room to spare. The padded pocket that safely protects a laptop is perfect for my Google Nexus 7 (new gen) tablet, again with room to spare.
The added two interior slip pockets are perfect for a large cell phone like my Samsung Note 5 and a power bank. The extra zipper pocket on the inside of the bag is nice for any small personal items.
The zipper pulls are strong and pull smoothly. There are no loose seems and the bag appears to be very well made. Should my opinion change later down the road, I'll be sure to update my review but I feel like it'll hold up great.
Overall, I'd say this is a fantastic backpack that is large enough for comfortable adult use. Looks better in person than online and has a clean, modern, and sophisticated look to it.
